A native of Idaho, Marla was born, raised and settled in the Blackfoot area. After an exciting and rewarding career in design, sales and marketing, Marla and husband Parley moved to their cabin home in Island Park. Chosen as a vacation destination in 1976 it has become their year round retreat. I love fly fishing, and was attracted to Island Park over 25 years ago. After retiring as the Director of Welfare Fraud Investigation for Eastern Washington, I decided Island Park would be my next home. I have dabbled in real estate for 35 years, and  became a licensed agent in 1998. My commitment to my clients is hard work, honesty, and integrity. Raised and educated in northern Utah, I received a bachelor's degree in biology, and a master's degree in Instructional Design from the University of Utah.  After a 20 year teaching career in Salt Lake City, I moved to West Yellowstone, MT and spent 10 years as a self employed, co-owner of a lodging and snowmobile rental business.   I purchased a little log cabin, and started spending summers in Island Park in the 1980's, and have been doing so ever since. I was introduced to Island Park by my husband Laurie after we were
married. We have brought our two children here every year for family
vacations and weekend fishing trips. It was amazing to me how
beautiful and clean the area is. I never dreamed we would make this
